Acceptable Use Policy
1. About this Policy
1.1 This Policy applies to all customers who acquire Internet Services from us.
1.2 This Acceptable Use Policy must be read subject to any United Networks Customer Terms and Conditions to be found on the United Networks web site located at https://www.unitedglobalsim.com.
1.3 Capitalised terms defined in any United Networks Customer Terms and Conditions have the same meaning in this Acceptable Use Policy.
1.4 In the event of a conflict between any United Networks Customer Terms and Conditions and this Acceptable Use Policy, the Customer Terms and Conditions will prevail.
1.5 The consequences of violation of this Acceptable Use Policy are set out in section 7, and include the right for United Networks to immediately terminate the provision of the Service.
1.6 Questions regarding this Acceptable Use Policy and complaints of violations of the Acceptable Use Policy by other United Networks users can be directed to Customer Support at firstname.lastname@example.org
2. Changes to this Policy
2.1 United Networks may revise this Acceptable Use Policy from time to time by posting a new version on the United Networks web site.
2.2 Any new version will be effective on the date nominated in the posting but not before 30 days have expired from the date of the posting unless United Networks considers (in its sole discretion) that a period shorter than 30
days is necessary or appropriate to protect the integrity or security of the United Networks service or network.
2.3 United Networks’ customers should consult this document regularly to ensure that their activities conform to the most recent version.
2.4 Each customer of United Networks is responsible for ensuring that the use of their Service through their Account complies with the rules and guidelines contained in this Acceptable Use Policy.
3.1 You are responsible for any misuse of the Service made available to you, even if the misuse was committed by another person or party with access to your Service, regardless of whether the misuse was with or without your consent.
3.2 The Service must not be used:
(a) to breach the security of another customer or to attempt to gain access to any other person's computer, mobile device, software or data, without the knowledge and consent of that person;
(b) in any attempt to circumvent the security of any host, network or account of another person or party. This includes, but is not limited to, accessing data not intended for you, logging into or making use of a server or account
you are not expressly authorised to access, or probing the security of other networks;
(c) disrupt the Service or the United Networks or Partner networks through which the Service is provided;
(d) to interfere with telecommunications services to any user, host or network; or
(e) transmit or disseminate spam or any information or software that contains a virus or other harmful feature.
3.3 You are solely responsible for the security of any device you use with respect to the Service, including any data stored on that device.
4. Illegal Activity
4.1 You must not use the Service for any activity that violates any local, state, federal or international law, order or regulation.
4.2 Prohibited activities include, but are not limited to:
(a) Posting, disseminating or accessing material which is unlawful.
(b) Disseminating material which violates the copyright or other intellectual property rights of others. You assume all risks regarding the determination of whether material is in the public domain.
(c) Illegal selling or soliciting schemes.
(d) Any fraudulent activities, including defrauding or impersonating any person or entity.
5. Unreasonable or Inappropriate Use
5.1 United Networks consider your use of the Service unreasonable if you use it in a manner which is other than it was intended for.
5.2 The Service must not be used to send unsolicited bulk or commercial messages. This includes, but is not limited to, bulk mailing of commercial advertising, informational announcements, charity requests, petitions for signatures
and political or religious messages.
5.3 You may not use any equipment, devices or SIM cards on our network which have not been approved by us. United Networks consider the use of our services or unauthorised equipment in this way to be unacceptable.
5.4 You must at all times comply with limitations of the Service including but not limited to bandwidth or data storage restrictions. You must ensure that your activity on our network or that of our Partners, does not represent
(in the sole judgment of United Networks) an unusually large burden on that network.
5.5 You must ensure that your activity does not improperly restrict, inhibit, disrupt, degrade or impede United Networks' ability to deliver the Service and monitor the Service.
5.6 United Networks reserves the right to monitor (and request Partners to monitor) your bandwidth, usage or content, to identify violations of this Acceptable Use Policy; and to protect our network and other customers.
6. Inappropriate Content
6.1 There may be content otherwise available through the Service which may be offensive to some individuals, or inappropriate for children. United Networks assumes no responsibility for the content available through the Service.
You assume the risk of accessing content through the Service, and United Networks shall have no liability for any claims, losses, actions, damages, suits or proceedings arising out of or otherwise relating to access to such content.
6.2 You are solely responsible for any information which you disseminate or publish through the Service.
6.3 United Networks is under no obligation to monitor transmissions made on the Service. However, United Networks or its agents, have the right to monitor such transmissions from time to time and to disclose the same in accordance
with Customer Terms and Conditions.
6.4 By using the Service to reproduce, publish, display, transmit or distribute content, a customer is warranting that the content complies with this Acceptable Use Policy and authorises United Networks, Partners or their agents
to reproduce, publish, display, transmit and distribute such content as necessary for United Networks to deliver the content in a timely manner.
7. Breach of the Acceptable Use Policy
7.1 If you breach any part of this Acceptable Use Policy United Networks may contact you and, if appropriate, ask you to modify your use of the service. If you do not modify your use of the service United Networks may suspend
or cancel your service without notice to you.
7.2 In certain circumstances such as illegality, or non-ordinary use, United Networks reserve the right to suspend or cancel your service immediately and without notice to you.
7.3 Upon cancellation of an Account, United Networks are authorised to delete any files, programs, data or information associated with the Account.
